Overview

Whether as employer or employee, it is important for our clients to be apprised of the legal regime touching on this important relationship. In addition, employers or employees may be non-citizens who have immigrated to Kenya or are seeking to migrate out of Kenya in search of work and labour.

The Firm has therefore established this Department to offer bespoke services to our clients who are seeking advise on employment and labour relations as well as immigration law. The advise focuses on various employment and labour relations matters such as employment contracts and what they should contain; procedure on termination of employment to avoid claims of wrongful and unfair termination of employment; emoluments and benefits; pensions and retirement benefits; employee health and safety; work injury; employer and employee unionizations and other labour relations; work permits and licenses among others.

In addition to the advisory services, we also draft necessary contracts, agreements and notices as may be required by the client.
