Under this Department, the Firm focuses on transactions with regard to oil and gas, geothermal and hydrothermal electricity generation, mining and excavation among others. The Firm advises clients on requirements to ensure compliance with environmental legislations such as the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act (EMCA), Energy Act (to conserve and be energy efficient) as well as areas related to climate change, effects on businesses and how to mitigate adverse effects.

The Firm established this Department in order to address clients’ needs by issuing boutique advise to ensure the effects of their operations do not harm the environment and advise on the legislations on environment and impact on their businesses.
