Regarding consultancy services, the Firm was involved in the drafting and enactment of several important legislations in the country such as the Land Act, Land Registration Act, the HIV and Aids Act among others.

The Firm continues to be recognized as a reputable firm in offering legal audit services and has conducted legal audit and compliance services for manufacturing companies, telecommunication companies, companies at the NSE and parastatals.

For companies trading in the Nairobi Stock Exchange and Parastatals, the Firm recognizes that it is mandatory that Governance and Legal Compliance Audits are carried out periodically as mandated by the Code of Corporate Governance Practice for Issuers of Securities to the Public, 2015 and the Mwongozo Code of Governance for State Corporations (Mwongozo Code) respectively. For other companies, the Firm recognizes that a legal audit is essential to apprise oneself of the level of compliance with the laws of the land, and by doing so avoid transactional and operational costs that may be caused by consequences of violating the law. In the era of proliferation of personal data and need to protect the personal data, the Firm has been engaged in data protection consultancy services, and has both offered training and advise on why data protection is important and mandatary in light of the Data Protection Act, as well as what clients need to do to ensure compliance with the various requirements of the Data Protection Act.
